Day Two

I am wondering if it makes sense to really post this site so the outside world can see it. My concern about making this public is that blogging seems like a very 'navel-staring' act, an act which is quite foolish. I began this exercise (of a blog) yesterday as a means to express my ideas for me and I thought it would be fun to create the blog. Now I am uncertain if this was the right choice, yet here I am typing away on day two. I listed this blog with a few blog lists so I guess I will see if anyone visits and go from there. For right now this is a personal exercise which is just fine with me.

Anyone can enlighten you! said...

I am not sure what kind of living arrangements you have, and if you have a strong circle of friends, but blogging helps me get my feelings out. The blog you visited is like my 3rd blog..At first, I had my pic up, etc..But I noticed that I was censoring everything I wrote b/c I knew ppl were reading it. Now, only my best friend has the url to my blog, and she reads it and comments on it. My psychologist told me to find that one person I could confide in, and that is she. Since she is busy with her hubby and kids, and I can't always talk, I just blog, and she comments at her leisure. I guess now I have two readers. Let me tell you that you might be lost at times in my blog, b/c I am Indian, a Punjabi girl to be exact, so I might type English translating my language or do other things that seem weird to you. I would like it if you would continue reading my blog, and for what you can relate to, comment on it, or maybe provide me with your perspective, and how you would deal with it.

Thanks,
Sue

Sue,

I will definitely read your blog - and thanks for reading mine. I have no idea what to expect. You are right that it does feel good to get it out in the blog form - it is really personal so I am going to keep my name and picture hidden so that I can speak freely. I am going to your blog now - I will not share it so you can keep your privacy. -az
